The Inn on Main is one of the early historic residences in this area. It was built in 1840 by Elijah Miller, the head of one of the first 12 families in Sherman. Originally a lovely country home and part of a farm that covered most of what is now the center of Sherman, this farm home was owned and worked by three generations of Millers before being sold in 1992 to become a Bed & Breakfast. The Inn underwent extensive, meticulous, loving renovations in 2012 and opened, under new owners, in mid 2013 as
Sherman’s Inn on Main.
